one point perspective drawing

for this drawing, we each picked a photo with a one point perspective. i chose a picture of a city; it was a lot of fun getting to play with different details and shapes. my line quality for this piece was probably the best it's been throughout all of my drawings so far. the space of the buildings and road really give that 3-d look, which has been a little difficult for me before. however, my

contrast of shading could've been better. the unity of the building detail is my favorite part of the drawing; the one-point perspective really gives a good emphasis on where the viewer should look.

i can't think of anything more rewarding than being able to express yourself to others through painting.
